Carinya Hair & Beauty is located in Wyong on the NSW Central Coast. Our salon was created with the vision of offering a relaxed salon experience for guests and a happy, harmonious working environment for our talented, committed hairdressers and beauty therapists. It’s our belief that if our employees are well respected, well trained, and happy; our customers will be happy. We go to great lengths to ensure that we offer a beautiful working environment and at the core of everything we do, there is hard work, respect, trust, fun, and laughter.

We have a keen interest in training future hairdressers and beauty therapists and we take great pride in helping them to reach their personal and professional goals. We encourage all of our apprentices to dare to be their best and because of our belief in them, they often surprise themselves. Nothing makes us more proud than to see apprentices that we’ve trained growing their own clientele from our happy customers.

When we recruit new hairdressers and beauty therapists, we are focused on seeking new team members with the right attitude and a genuine desire to deliver the very best customer service experience to all of our salon guests.

At Carinya Hair & Beauty, we provide the very best of training to ensure that our salon guests always receive the very best quality of hair and beauty services.

We are often asked who Carinya is. In fact, Carinya is not a person involved in the business, but rather an Aboriginal name that reflects what we want to offer our salon guests and our employees. As with many Aboriginal names/words, there are sometimes differences in meaning, often based on geographic location. However, the one that resonates with us, means ‘happy, harmonious home’. We want our salon guests and our valued employees to feel at home and happy at Carinya Hair & Beauty.

Sharon Sear

PROPRIETOR

With a background in sales/business development and training in the hair and beauty industry, becoming a salon proprietor was a natural transition. I have always had a passion for delivering the very best customer service experience to clients and I have a passion for fashion, hair and beauty. To me, hair and beauty services do much more than just change the way a customer looks. The right service can change the way a customer feels and can help to make their inner beauty shine. That was my drawcard! In July 2016, with the assistance of my two daughters (Danielle and Gabrielle), Carinya was founded. My daughters were instrumental during the creation of Carinya Hair & Beauty and during the many years of managing the salon on a day-to-day basis. I couldn't be any more proud of their achievements, nor more grateful for their dedication and hard work. These days, I travel significantly and therefore work from a mobile office. However, Carinya Hair & Beauty is now in the safe hands of my daughter Danielle, and I am always only a phone call away. I do visit the salon often, during which Danielle usually adds significantly to my 'To Do' list! She continues to drive my passion and I encourage her to chase her life goals. I am in awe of the way that Danielle continues to put 100% passion into every day and Carinya and I have the utmost respect for how she manages the team with great loyalty and respect. I am eternally grateful to belong to such a beautiful community, within our workplace, within our neighbourhood in Wyong and the Central Coast. We live, work and play in a beautiful part of the world and I am proud that through Carinya, we can add to that beauty. Thank you for supporting our dreams and goals, you are very much appreciated.

Danielle Turner

SALON MANAGER

Danielle is a very passionate Hairdresser, with many years of hairdressing experience. During her hairdressing apprenticeship, Danielle worked in busy Westfield salons before moving to high-end successful boutique salons in Surrey Hills, Sydney. Danielle has exceptional skills, knows what's important to clients and how to deliver a superior level of service. Danielle’s drive and determination were directly behind the creation of Carinya Hair & Beauty. Who knows what Danielle will continue to achieve throughout her career, what we are sure of, is that she will continue to grow and will always exceed the expectations of our salon guests.

Lara Seddon

BEAUTY THERAPIST

Lara is an absolute asset to our team and a total pleasure to work with! Lara completed her Cert IV in Beauty Therapy with Carinya Hair & Beauty and she has continued adding to her skills regularly. Whether enjoying a facial, a massage, lash or any other service with Lara, we can guarantee that you'll be impressed. Lara has an incredibly high rebooking rate, and once you've had a beauty service with her, you'll understand why!

Ashleigh Kelly

SENIOR HAIR STYLIST

Ashleigh is a confident senior hair stylist that is committed to ensuring that her clients walk out of Carinya with the extra confidence of knowing their hair looks amazing! Ashleigh works full time from Tuesday to Friday and is keen to meet with new clients. Tahlia Loadsman

2ND YEAR APPRENTICE

Tahlia is an outstanding asset to Carinya Hair & Beauty and we are so proud of the progress she's made since joining us as a 1st year apprentice. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Tahlia and to watch her personal and professional growth. We love working with Tahlia and we have absolute confidence in her skills and professionalism. Amber Donnelly

2ND YEAR APPRENTICE

Amber came to us as a confident 2nd year apprentice, keen to learn and eager to polish her skills. Settling into the team at Carinya was a smooth transition and we feel like Amber has always been here. Our customers love Amber have been very impressed with the servcies she's provided and assisted with. We are keen to help Amber to grow and we are confident that she is going to be a very successful senior stylist in the future.

Tiarah Wilson

1ST YEAR APPRENTICE

Tiarah is an outstanding 1st year apprentice and continues to impress us on a daily basis. Mature beyond her years, Tiarah takes on any task requested, trusting that she will have the support of her manager and peers. The work that Tiarah produces is professional and way ahead of expectations. Tiarah shows an impeccable eye for detail and is always an extremely neat, meticulous worker. Anyone that has had a colour service or scalp massage by Tiarah will definitely relate to these comments. The sky is the limit for Tiarah!
