Salon Manager – Hair Services


Having started working for a busy Westfield chain of salons at the age of 15; Danielle completed the first two years of her apprenticeship in this salon before deciding she wanted to work for a more exclusive, successful boutique salon. However, believing that even the best haircut/style was not complete without a big bouncy or super smooth blow dry, Danielle first sought out a successful salon in Burwood that had the best reputation for blow-drying. She honed her blow-drying skills with the best at Alan Coban, before landing a position with a salon that she had long desired to work with. Danielle finished her apprenticeship with this salon, Muse Hair in Sydney’s trendy Surrey Hills and continued working there until she decided to move to the Central Coast in 2014 to buy her first property.

After moving to the coast and working for several salons, Danielle decided that she wanted to offer more to her clients than what she felt was currently on offer. That thought process and Danielle’s drive and determination was directly behind the creation of Carinya House of Hair & Beauty.

Who knows what Danielle will continue to achieve throughout her career, what we are sure of, is that she will continue to grow and will always exceed the expectations of our Salon Guests.

What ignites the flame every day?

Building close relationships with my clients and sharing ideas that get them excited about their hair. There’s no feeling better than seeing how confident my client is when they walk out of the salon and I know they really what I’ve done for them.

Favourite service:

This is hard because I love everything about being a hairdresser. If I had to choose one thing, maybe Colour! I love changing colours, doing colour correction and experimenting with new blends of colour. I also love doing great blow-dry’s that last and I also really want all my clients to have healthy hair. I love it when a client takes my advice, ends-up with the colour that they wanted, but also maintains the condition of their hair.


Snow skiing, water skiing, painting and just relaxing with family and friends.

For many years, I’ve enjoyed giving-up my time to cut hair for the homeless. I love doing what I can to help people when they are really at a low point in life.

I also introduced my Mum to Sustainable Salons Australia. Luckily, she shared my enthusiasm and thought it was worth the membership fees. Through this membership, not only did I do something to help protect our environment, but also to help feed the homeless as well.
